New Baby = Bored Shorty
Since D & I spent the whole day getting ready to & celebrating our friends' Jamaal & Rachel's new baby, Shorty ended up bored. Hopefully he won't be the same way if D & I have a child of our own. I think it's a significant adjustment for Shorty not being the center of my universe any more since D's come into my life...I can only imagine what it'd be like if I had another baby...

Friday we went to Sarasota to visit our friends Jamaal & Rachel so we could welcome & celebrate Justin, their new addition to their family. After years of my & D's mutual friend Jamaal having nothing but girls to raise, we were more than happy to celebrate the newest Y-chromasome in the house. I think Darryl was thinking about his own Y-chromasome passing on through my uterus :-)!
